The
DVD Cast: All about . . . Boris the Robber
Every story needs a Baddie - this one has
two to choose from!
Boris is bad in a different way to Ivan. He's
a big, tough, cockney-type villain - a sort
of Bill Sykes without the murderous tendencies,
but he isn't sly or sneaky: he's dishonest
in a straightforward, well, honest sort
of way.
There's no malice there: he doesn't particularly
enjoy being a robber
- it's a filthy job at times, but somebody
has to do it
For some reason he has chosen to train up
an assistant, and having
no children he has taken on the most unlikely
and unsuitable
apprentice - the enigmatic UDO,
whose deeply moral nature is a
source of constant exasperation to his pragmatic,
street-wise boss.
